Ingredients
1 lb beef, sliced thin
2 cups broccoli florets
2 tablespoons soy sauce
1 tablespoon oyster sauce
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 tablespoon ginger, minced
1 tablespoon cornstarch
1 tablespoon vegetable oil
1/2 cup beef broth
Salt and pepper to taste
Directions
1. Start by mixing your sliced beef with soy sauce, oyster sauce, and cornstarch in a bowl. Give it a good toss so everything is well coated, then let it marinate for about 30 minutes.
2. Warm up your vegetable oil in a pan over medium-high heat. Add in the minced garlic and ginger, gently stirring until the kitchen smells amazing and the mixture is fragrant.
3. Add the marinated beef to the pan. Cook it, stirring occasionally, until it’s nicely browned and cooked through.
4. Toss in the broccoli florets and pour in the beef broth. Stir-fry everything together, letting the broccoli turn bright green and tender-crisp.
5. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Serve it up hot, ideally over a big bowl of steamed rice, and enjoy every bite.
